Carter grew up in Washington, DC and moved to Los Angeles after attending Boston University. She has worked in the TV & film industry for 14 years, starting out at production companies including Jerry Bruckheimer Films, Endemol Shine North America and Ashton Kutcher’s Katalyst Media. She started working full-time in casting for unscripted television in 2012 and has cast almost 50 shows in her career so far, including Top Chef (Bravo), America's Got Talent (NBC), Married at First Sight (Lifetime), The Biggest Loser (NBC), Celebrity Undercover Boss (CBS) and 9 Months with Courteney Cox (Facebook Watch) from Ample Entertainment.
